Crumbs is a simple app that shows one fun fact a day. This policy explains, plainly, what information the app touches and why.
Crumbs does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use it.
Each day's fact is generated automatically ahead of time and published for everyone to read. Loading the fact simply retrieves this public, shared content; nothing about you or your device is sent as part of that process.
If you allow notifications, Crumbs uses Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging service to let you know when a new fact is ready. To make this possible, your device is assigned a registration token by Google — a technical identifier used only to deliver these notifications. This token does not contain your name, location, or any other personal information, and Crumbs does not use it for any purpose other than sending the daily notification.
The "Share" button lets you send a fact, including a generated image of it, using your device's own built-in sharing tools. Crumbs does not see or store who you share with, and the image is created entirely on your device.
Crumbs is a general-audience app suitable for ages 7 and up, but it is not specifically directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, an updated version will be posted at this same page.
